The
Embodied
Trainer
From Subject Matter Expert to Performance Architect
You were put in a training role because you’re good at your job. But great trainers aren’t born from expertise — they’re built from intentional practice, adult learning science, and the sustainable habits that make a long career possible. This program bridges that gap.
“Subject Matter Expertise ≠ Training Expertise. Let’s bridge that gap — sustainably.”

Capstone Presentations
You were promoted to trainer. But nobody taught you how to train.
Organizations routinely pull their best performers into training roles, hand them a slide deck, and call it a program. The result? Brilliant subject matter experts who exhaust themselves trying to “make” people learn — and who burn out within a few years.
If any of these feel familiar, you’re in the right place.
- You know your content cold, but you’re not sure your training actually changes behavior when people return to their jobs.
- You leave sessions exhausted — emotionally and physically — and you’re not sure how long you can sustain this pace.
- Stakeholders treat you as an order-taker, not a strategic partner — and you lack the vocabulary to change that dynamic.
- You can’t prove ROI, so your training budget is always at risk when leadership needs to cut costs.
What you’ll master across 7 weeks
Every competency is built toward one goal: training that creates measurable performance change — delivered by a trainer who can sustain a long, meaningful career.
The only trainer certification that treats you as the instrument
Most L&D certifications teach you what to do in the room. We teach you how to show up to the room — physically regulated, emotionally resilient, and professionally sustainable.
This is the integration of somatic wisdom and instructional science. You’ll learn the same breath, movement, and grounding practices we teach your learners — because a depleted trainer creates mediocre learning experiences. A regulated trainer creates transformational ones.
Your 7-week journey, session by session
One full in-person kickoff · five virtual evening sessions · a full virtual capstone day. By graduation, you’ll have a training asset ready to deploy.
Three practitioners. One integrated approach.
The Embodied Trainer is co-facilitated by experts who live the intersection of learning science, somatic practice, and voice — because this program asks you to show up as a whole person, and so do we.

His work is grounded in a simple belief: training exists to change performance, not fill seats. Jason specializes in program design, onboarding transformation, and helping trainers develop the business fluency to be seen as strategic partners.
Outside the corporate world, Jason is a certified Qigong instructor and co-founder of Embodied Wisdom Institute. He is also the author of the memoir Choices and Chances.

Her work is guided by compassion, curiosity, and deep respect for the body’s innate intelligence — honoring that change unfolds differently for each person, and that support is most sustainable when it honors choice, pacing, and lived experience.
Those seeking individual psychotherapy can connect with Vanessa through her private practice: meadowgrovecounseling.com

Her training spans Gettysburg College, NYU, Manhattan School of Music, The Philadelphia Orchestra, and The LoVetri Method, alongside 20+ musical productions across the US. Locally she has worked with Fulton Theatre, Prima, Opera Lancaster, Linden Hall, and is a member of the Divine Feminine Collective.
In The Embodied Trainer, Jen brings the voice and sound dimension that most L&D programs completely overlook — helping trainers find confidence, resonance, and authentic presence in their vocal delivery.
